eCommerce Giant eBay Acquires Magento
Ebay announced today that it will acquire Magento, Inc., developers of the Magento eCommerce platform. The announcement comes after eBay announced in February to purchase a 49 percent stake in Magento, valued at $22.5 million.
Things We Like: The Friday Five for June 3, 2011
A short week here at SUMO HQ. Seems like everyone else is a half-step behind due to the 3-day weekend. It’s hard to believe it’s the beginning of June (although the weather in Philly leads you to believe it’s August). The first half of the year is over, and Summer just flies by, so I fully expect to see the Halloween merchandise out at Target next week…

It’s Friday and folks in the US are getting ready for the Memorial Day holiday. Memorial Day usually includes parades, backyard parties and grilling of animal parts, but don’t forget to take some time this weekend and thank the folks in uniform who made this all possible.
